Frequently Asked Questions
Many times we are asked the following questions concerning selling, packaging or shipping cartridges. We are providing this list of FAQ's for your convenience. If you require any additional information, please contact us.
Q. I have some cartridges to collect, what do I do?
Q. I have Photocopier toners here, do you take them?
A. Sadly at present we cannot accept them, but we are looking into ways of having
them Recycled. Contact your photocopier company and instruct them to collect them and have them Recycled.
Q. Can I send INK JET and LASER TONER cartridges in the same box?
A. Yes, just wrap the inks in paper, individually and make sure they are not crushed by the toners.
Q. How much do you pay for cartridges?
A. Go to the prices page.
Q. Do you provide boxes for LASER TONERS?
A. At the moment, no we don’t, we feel it’s against our
Re-Use policy to kill a tree for a carton, we feel sure you must have a box somewhere.
Q. When I sell cartridges to you, who pays for the shipping?
A. We will pay the shipping costs. However we deduct 50 cents for every
non target cartridge you send in. We only accept Canon, Hewlett Packard and Lexmark cartridges.
Q. How should I pack the cartridges?
A. For INK JETS, individually packaged in paper is best. It is critical that they be protected at all times against damage.
Unwrapped cartridges received by us will sadly be treated as damaged and unacceptable.
For TONERS, remove them from their original packaging and just stack them neatly into a carton.
Q. Is there a minimum quantity of cartridges you will buy?
A. Yes, a combination of 10 Target Toners or inks is our minimum purchase quantity (see prices page for targets).
Q. A donor’s work site has lots of toner cartridges but there are too many to bring in, what do I do?
A. We can pick them up, if there is 10 nominated cartridges.
Just ring us up and tell us you problem and we will be delighted to help.
Q. Can I talk to you about this program?
A. Of course you can!! See the contact page for details.
